Postcards from the Future

My project is about remembering the rain in Bangkok when I was growing up. I loved how the rain made the busy city feel quiet and calm. I also talked to my dad, who grew up in Bangkok in the 1970s. He said the rain used to be fun, but it also caused floods and problems.

Now, because of climate change, Bangkok gets even more rain and floods. In the future, the city might be underwater. I made a postcard that shows a mix of old Thai culture and a new underwater world. It shows how we must take care of our planet, or we might lose the places we love.

Front (Picture Side)
The front of the postcard shows a simple white drawing on a green background. In the middle, there is a Thai temple inside a big dome. Around it, there are fish, sea plants, and palm trees. You can also see tall buildings and helicopters, now under the water. This picture shows how people now live under the sea, mixing old Thai culture with a new underwater world.

Back (Message Side)
The handwritten message says

Due to the massive rainfall in recent years, the once vibrant and colorful city I call home is now facing violent floods. People are losing their homes and livelihoods. Temples and skyscrapers are now submerged under a sea of our own mistakes. We now drown in the faults of our own past
